M.H. Eby, Inc. is announcing the retirement of its National Parts and Service Manager, Robert “Bob” Martin. Bob began his career at Eby in 1994 as Service Manager of the Blue Ball, PA division. EBY LogoHe remained in that role until taking over responsibility for service and parts activities at all of Eby’s branch locations in 2012. At that time, Bob joined the company’s executive leadership team and was a trusted advocate for customers, employees, and the company.

Over Bob’s 30 years with Eby, he established a strong rapport with customers throughout North America through his calm and fair demeanor and his ability to apply sensible solutions based on extensive product knowledge and experience. Beyond that— his kindness and humor endeared him to many.

Said company president Travis Eby, “On behalf of the Eby family, our Executive Leadership Team, and our employees, I want to express our deepest appreciation to Bob and his wife, Delores, for their dedication to the company over his 30 years here. Bob grew immensely in his skills and responsibilities at the company...but never grew his ego or lost his desire to serve others. We will all miss his expertise and sensible problem-solving skills, but more than that, we will miss daily interaction with our friend. “

Upon retirement, Bob and Delores plan to spend more time with their family and grandchildren, both locally and at their residence in upstate PA. They also plan to travel the United States by motorcycle.
