Felling Trailers Names Kevin Maves & Carl Thigpen, Sales Managers for the Western US

Felling Trailers Inc., a leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial trailers, has appointed Kevin Maves and Carl Thigpen to their outside sales team representing Felling Trailers in the Western US. Maves now serves the Southwestern US region covering California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Thigpen now serves the Northwest US region, covering Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. In their roles, they are responsible for all sales development, activity, and dealer support in their respective regions. 

 Kevin’s career in the equipment industry started in 2005, working as an inside salesperson for an equipment rental company in the Las Vegas area. During his time there, he gained sales skills and developed a solid understanding of the equipment needs of various businesses. He learned to build strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions for his client’s rental needs. It was here that he first came to know the Felling Trailers brand. Looking to pursue new challenges, Kevin transitioned into the pharma industry, where he worked for several years in various roles cultivating his customer handling and problem-solving skills. After some time working in pharma, Kevin felt a pull back to the equipment industry, which led him to Felling Trailers. “We are confident that Kevin will play a pivotal role in further expanding our presence in the Southwest region and delivering top-notch service to our valued customers,” said Nathan Uphus, Sales Manager at Felling Trailers. “I am excited to get back into working in the equipment industry and helping provide dealers and customers in the southwest with the right trailer for their transportation needs,” said Maves. 

Carl brings a wealth of knowledge with over three decades of experience in the heavy equipment transportation sales and rental industries. Before joining Felling Trailers, Carl held key roles as owner, manager, driver, and territory manager where he gained a deep understanding of the equipment and transportation industries. He achieved significant market growth, established solid relationships, and provided product demonstrations and training. "I am no stranger to the Felling Trailers brand; they are quality-built trailers. I have seen friends go from renting a Felling to purchasing one for their fleet. I look forward to working with dealers and end-users to understand their unique needs and provide custom solutions to meet their transportation needs,” said Carl.
